New Dog House

OK - it's not really a dog house but Levi thinks it is his...he already "christened" an outside corner. Gene bought a 10 x 12 shed from Sears and he and Parish are nearly done putting it together. They actually are reading the directions!! Lots of panels and screws and metal pieces... glad Parish is helping and not me. I did help a little, by holding some pieces in place while they looked for the correct panels and screws. We'll store the lawn mower and other outdoor power stuff inside it along - Gene is running out of space in his garage. Well, not exactly but we decided it would be good to get a lot the flammable stuff into this metal shed and away from the house. They are going to bolt it down to the concrete so the wind will not blow it away. Gene is also going to reinforce it a bit. Good weekend project. Of course the dog had to keep an eye on things.

Weather has been gorgeous - in the 70's - no rain or snow - just beautiful. In fact, Sunday I sat out in the sun for about 15 minutes to get my Vitamin D. There is some talk of snow showers next Sunday but not worrying about that right now! We've had glorious sunsets and sunrises too.

Not much else happening at the moment which is fine with us. Looking forward to having company over for Thanksgiving dinner and then David and Carol and Ozzie (the dog) arriving in December for Christmas. Hopefully this year we'll not have snow storms like the ones in Seattle that screwed up our Christmas plans last year.
