Progress

We are making progress towards the great journey to the SW. I finished the pot quilt..!!! Yahoo!!! I will be taking it to Albuquerque, hopefully on June 18th to the shop for quilting. It's spectacular if I do say so myself. And doesn't it look great next to the totem pole Gene carved? TP is going with us also...do they have totem poles in the SW ?

The remodeling is done except for staining some of the closet doors, which is dependent on the weather here in the sunny HA HA NW. Gene is staining them outside and is working between rain showers on that. But they look really nice.

We have a plan.... well, a big list is more like it. I'm packing up my studio, aka sewing room, now that the quilt is done and should be able to get that painted and cleaned up this week.

Anyway, the plan is still to leave sometime the week of May 31 or June 7th - will have a much better idea when Mark calls us on Wed or Thurs this week (he's the trucker). Talked with him last night and trying to plan so that we can get to Las Vegas NEW MEXICO in three days...probably leave the same afternoon he does, drive as far as Yakima or further, that afternoon/evening and then stop in Boise to see Rich and Lorene for a bit the next day and get as far as we an that night. Perhaps Twin Falls. Then from there to Cheyenne the next day, stop in Loveland CO to see Lee and Kathy the third day and down to Las Vegas. Since we are both driving it'll be trickier as we won't be able to switch drivers. Anyone want to come along and drive with us?????

So that's the update. A bit overwhelming but it's coming along. Project Management 4416-49!!
