Things change...instead of taking a trip south to NM this month, we decided to just stay home and "help" the remodling crew here and just move in June. Saves us time and money and I wasn't ready anyway!! We're having the upstairs bathroom remodeled and also new doors put on all the closets and some drywall issues fixed, etc. And they will also mud over the awful wallpaper in the downstairs kitchen so we can paint those walls plain also. Think green/orange/white 70's wallpaper...with texture...at least the appliances down there are off white and in great shape. It's a nice space except for the wallpaper. So we continue to clean/donate/rake/plant etc to get ready for the big move in June.
I finished all the blocks for the pot quilt (113 of them) and now get to cut all the triangles that go on the edges...can't believe that they will all be the right size and go on correctly.... a bit nerve-wracking to say the least. There are approximately 328 triangles to be cut... wonder why no one wants to help me with this... Oh well, one step at a time and it'll be ready for quilting!
