Progress

Well, it's only a few weeks till we set off on our road trip to Las Vegas with the first load of "stuff". I've been packing fabric and sorting books. And thinking about all the stuff we need to do. It'll be fun to get away and get on the road although the trip is a long one. We'll have a truck and one of our cars so we each will drive all the way. The dog will be with me most of the time I think. May see if we can find someone on Craig's list that needs a ride to Denver or somewhere along the way to help Gene drive.

Are waiting for a bid from a guy to do some remodeling work on the SEA house... small things that just need to be done..and one bathroom to update. He told us about the Habitat for Humanity Outlet store where we might be able to find some of the needed stuff cheaper. Never heard of it before, but it's not far from us and we'll be heading down to look at what they have.

Looking forward to getting the fabric for the rest of the pot quilt in the next day or two from the shop in ABQ so I can start the sashing and border work. 103 blocks to make...ugh. But my goal is to get it done before we leave so I can drop it at the shop for quilting while we are in NM.

Spring is arriving here but not soon enough. Looking forward to sunshine and some warmer weather in the SW!
