Heading To Las Vegas

First post on new blog... we bought a house this past summer in Las Vegas New Mexico - the original Las Vegas. Our retirement home..nice house and garage and fabulous space for Gene to build his dream workshop..plus 5 acres of property to grow whatever we want. We spent a week there in October, painting and cleaning and getting to know some of the neighbors also. It's ready for a new renter and if we don't find someone, it'll be ready for us in June. Had a wonderful week there...even though we worked 10 hours a day nearly - we had fun. So nice to sit on the deck and listen to nothing... an occassional truck on the freeway and the wonderful sound of the Amtrack train that comes through LV twice a day.
