Nope, no need to dream of a white Christmas...we have the white and soon the Christmas part will be here. Started snowing around 1 today and it's still coming down...maybe 3 inches total...not sure. It's pretty but enough already!!! Sun is supposed to come out on Friday for a few days but since the temps are staying chilly I doubt much of it will melt.
And with snow come icy roads and thus the FedEx man with my computer did not arrive today...hmmm, ya think they'll rebate my 2nd Day Delivery charges! Ya right! So they say it'll be here tomorrow...I'm hoping!!
So the relatives arrived safely on Monday, Roadie arrived that day also and he and Levi are behaving themselves. Gene took them out for a walk in the snow today...two dogs, two leashes and Gene trying to control them both. Seems like they had fun. Roadie is not used to wood floors so he's pretty much staying on the rugs....poor guy, he's lonesome for his mom and dad. But he is so well behaved I'm hoping Levi learns a few things from him. He has his own bed and dishes that we have put in my sewing room, which is carpeted. He sleeps quietly all night long in there and is ready in the morning to go outside. He did manage to get out the door the other day without being on a leash and went running off to the neighbors. Gene and Betty, another neighbor who was visiting, jumped in Gene's car and went after him. They tracked him down easily actually and he jumped into the car and came "home".
Tomorrow is Christmas Eve and we'll go to church at 6:30. Choir is singing for the service but we are sitting in the congregation with our families which will be nice. We sing at the end of the service so will just walk up front and sing, "Go, Tell it on the Mountain" to send people off into the Christmas night.
